Paris Hilton Biography
Paris Hilton was born on February 17th, 1981, to Rick and Kathy Hilton, making her the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, founder of the Hilton hotels and source of the family fortune — estimated at $300 million. Her grandfather, Conrad “Nicky” Hilton, Jr., also brought some notoriety to the family, as he was the first of Elizabeth Taylor’s many ex-husbands. Paris’ younger sister, Nicky (born in 1983), shares the throne as co-heiress of the Hilton empire.
Paris the model
Growing up in Manhattan’s ritzy Waldorf-Astoria, the family’s New York home, as well as other Hilton digs in Beverly Hills and the Hamptons, Paris didn’t seem to yearn for much. Even after graduating from high school, college didn’t appeal to her. So, around the year 2000, Paris decided to branch out and become famous.
She began to make a name for herself as a model, soon appearing in shows for designers such as Marc Bouwer and Catherine Malandrino, and she later completed an ad campaign for Iceberg, an Italian label. In addition, Paris has posed for spreads in national magazines such as GQ, Vanity Fair and FHM, and has also been profiled, along with her sister, in People magazine.
Paris in the tabloids
At the same time, Paris became the center of attention because of her relationships — real or imagined by the paparazzi — with some of Hollywood’s hottest young stars. In early 2000, Paris was spotted around town with Leonardo DiCaprio. However, the press, especially the National Enquirer, blew their casual friendship far out of proportion. Nevertheless, she apparently dated Terminator 2’s Edward Furlong for a few months, and was later seen out and about with boxer Oscar de la Hoya. Paris has also been linked with actor and Tommy Hilfiger model, Jason Shaw, Sum 41 lead singer Derek Whibley, and Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys.
Paris, along with her younger sister Nicky, also became notorious as socialites, gracing party after party and getting bad press for their antics. For example, Paris has grabbed headlines by shoving ahead of others in a washroom line, then, when upbraided for her rudeness, quipped that she only wanted to look at herself in the mirror. She has also danced on top of bar banquettes, gone topless for attention, and paraded around in designer T-shirts with slogans like, “Got Blow?” Yet Paris maintains that the bad press “sucks” and that “people are mean.”
Paris stars in the simple life
Perhaps in an effort to clean up her image, Paris has tried to make her mark by working on more substantial projects. In 2001, she had a cameo appearance in Ben Stiller’s fashion spoof, Zoolander. Other appearances include a role as a strung-out supermodel in the film short QIK2JDG, The Hillz (co-starring boyfriend Jason Shaw), Wonderland, and the big-screen adaptation of the Dr. Seuss classic, The Cat in the Hat. She also starred in the FOX reality show, The Simple Life, based on Green Acres, and featured Paris Hilton living on a farm. The show was such a success that there will likely be a sequel.
On top of her burgeoning acting career, Paris has designed a high-end collection of purses for Tokyo label Samantha Thavasa, along with her sister Nicky. Paris has also given back; she has done charity work for Toys for Tots. Unfortunately, her attempts to start a modeling company and a makeup line seem to have fizzled.
Paris on video
Paris has also grabbed headlines thanks to a makeout session with notorious lesbian, Ingrid Casares, and a sex tape starring Paris and ex Rick Solomon that was released on the Net, and of course, spread like wildfire.
Paris Hilton also appears in 2004’s Raising Helen, starring Kate Hudson.

Anne Hathaway

Date of Birth: 12 November 1982, Brooklyn, New York, USA
Birth Name: Anne Jacqueline Hathaway
Nickname: Annie
Height: 5' 8" (1.73 m)
Trade Mark: Her smile.
Mini Biography

Anne Hathaway's first major role came in the short-lived television series "Get Real" (1999). She gained widespread recognition for her roles in The Princess Diaries (2001) and its 2004 sequel as a young girl who discovers she's a member of royalty, opposite Julie Andrews and Heather Matarazzo.
She also had a notable role in Nicholas Nickleby (2002) opposite Charlie Hunnam and Jamie Bell, and a starring role in Ella Enchanted (2004). A former top-ranking soprano in New York, Hathaway was reportedly a front-runner for the role of "Christine" in the 2004 The Phantom of the Opera (2004). However, due to scheduling conflicts with The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (2004), she couldn't take the role, which was later given to newcomer Emmy Rossum.
Hathaway soon started to move away from family-friendly films. Following The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (2004), she appeared topless in the films Havoc (2005) opposite Josh Peck and Brokeback Mountain (2005) opposite Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal. Her desire to break out of her "Princess Diaries" image parallels that of her one-time co-star, Julie Andrews, who went topless in the film S.O.B. (1981) in order to break away from the image she created from her 1960s musicals. In interviews, Hathaway said that doing family-friendly films didn't mean she was similar to their characters or mean she objected to appearing nude in other films.
Her upcoming films are The Devil Wears Prada (2006) opposite Meryl Streep, and Becoming Jane (2007), in which she'll play a young Jane Austen.

Jessica Alba

Date of Birth: 28 April 1981, Pomona, California, USA
Birth Name: Jessica Marie Alba
Nickname: Sky Angel, Albz
Height: 5' 6½" (1.69 m)
Spouse: Cash Warren (19 May 2008 - present) 1 child

Popular film actress Jessica Alba gave birth to a baby girl. Honor Marie Warren, Saturday (June 7, 2008) in Los Angeles, her publicist Brad Cafarelli said.
Alba married longtime boyfriend Cash Warren on May 19, 2008, in a secret ceremony in Beverly Hills.
The couple met on the set of the 2004 film The Fantastic Four, which co-starred Alba. Warren was a director's assistant. They became engaged in December 2007 shortly after she confirmed her pregnancy.
Born on April 28, 1981, in Pomona, California, Alba comes from a diverse background. Her father is Mexican-American and her mother has Danish and French roots. As the daughter of a member of the U.S. Air Force, she moved around a lot while growing up, living in California, Mississippi, and Texas before settling back in California.
Alba began studying acting in her early teens and had an agent by the age of 12. Netting her first film role, she appeared in the 1994 comedy Camp Nowhere. She also found work as a model and did some commercials. Around this time, Alba landed a recurring role on The Secret World of Alex Mack, a popular tween comedy about a girl who develops special powers. She took to the water with a short-lived remake of the classic aquatic adventure series, Flipper, which was filmed in Australia.
After a string of guest appearances, Alba was given the leading role in the science fiction series Dark Angel. The show was created by director James Cameron and premiered in the fall of 2000. She played Max Guevera, a genetically modified young woman who worked as a bike messenger. She had escaped from a genetics research project that used children as test subjects.
Set in 2019 in a post-apocalyptic Seattle, the series featured storylines about her search for others from the project as well as the efforts of the government to recapture her. Her character worked with a journalist named Logan Cale played by Michael Weatherly. Off-screen, Alba and Weatherly developed a personal relationship and were engaged for a time.
While the series earned some critical acclaim, Dark Angel only lasted for two seasons. Alba soon appeared on the big screen with Honey (2003), playing a hip-hop dancer and choreographer. Not a critical success, it was popular with teen audiences. She played a different type of dancer in the animated Sin City (2005)—a stripper with book smarts.
Around this time, Alba brought a comic book heroine to life in Fantastic Four (2005). She played Sue Storm, one of four astronauts who gained unusual powers after being exposed to cosmic rays. Alba’s character was able to make herself invisible as well as to create invisible protective force fields. Reprising her role, she also appeared in the 2007 sequel, 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
Taking on another adventurous part, Alba appeared in Into the Blue (2005) with Paul Walker and Scott Caan. She played a diver who gets into trouble after discovering a sunken plane. With Good Luck Chuck (2007), Alba tried her hand at romantic comedy, starring opposite Dane Cook. Neither effort fared well with critics nor attracted much of an audience.
Continuing to branch out, Alba starred in The Eye (2008), a remake of a Japanese horror film. She played a musician who received an eye transplant, which produces some unexpected and unwanted side effects. Returning to comedy, Alba also has a part in the Mike Myers film The Love Guru (2008).

Profession: Singer and songwriter
Education: Graduated from Pulaski Academy in the year 2000. She also briefly attended Middle Tennessee State University.
Father: John Lee
Mother: Sara
Sisters: Carrie and Laurie
Brothers: Robbie
Claim To Fame: Vocalist for the rock band Evanescence

Biography

Amy Lynn Lee (born December 13, 1981 in Riverside, California) is an American singer and songwriter. She founded the band Evanescence with Ben Moody. The two met at a youth camp when Lee was playing Meat Loaf's "I'd Do Anything for Love (but I Won't Do That)" on the piano.
Her father works as a DJ, and her mother works raising Lee's three siblings: her brother Robbie and her two sisters, Carrie and Laurie. At school, Lee was president of the choir council, and appeared in a number of plays. She has never had professional voice lessons, but has had classical piano lessons. Her family moved to many places, including Illinois, Kansas, and Florida, but finally settled in Little Rock, Arkansas, where Evanescence started. She graduated from Pulaski Academy in the year 2000. She also briefly attended Middle Tennessee State University.
Lee has a trademark neo-goth style, marked by her occasional use of gothic make-up (black eyeliner and crow face) and unique fashion which consists of often Victorian-styled clothing. She is known to design her own clothes, and sometimes even sew them herself. Starting her own clothing line has not been ruled out, according to her, although she has expressed concerns about the viability of such an endeavour, as she has mentioned that she prefers to create unique hand-crafted costumes rather than mass-produced fashions. In concerts, she often wears a corset or fishnet, and has a notable piercing on her left eyebrow which is visible on the cover of Fallen (Evanescence's debut album), even though fans have noted she appears to have removed it (at least temporarily) in recent concerts.
Many fans praise Lee for her refusal to emulate other celebrities by using sex appeal in her music. She has stated on a number of occasions that she would never flash her breasts or engage in other publicity stunts which would draw attention to herself. In fact, in the music video for "Everybody's Fool," she aimed to mock such artists by suggesting celebrities who use sex to appeal to an audience are "everybody's fool" and are in fact, merely peddling "lies" (the unifying theme of the music video).
Amy once stated in an interview while on tour that the successful duet "Bring Me to Life", featuring Paul McCoy of 12 Stones, was inspired when she met a friend of a friend. A total stranger who did not know her, somehow could "see inside her" and when he spoke, his words, "woke her up inside". This encounter with a true "Word of Knowledge" inspired the hit that would launch her career.
She is featured on the hit Seether track "Broken" (a duet with Shaun Morgan), which is featured on their album Disclaimer II as well as the soundtrack for the 2004 film The Punisher. Amy Lee was working on the opening theme of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and was writing additional music for the film, though her music has recently been rejected for the film; the theme song will now be provided by Alanis Morissette.
Amy Lee was sued for $10 million on December 1, 2005 by former Evanescence manager, Dennis Rider, for breach of contract. The claim against Lee was that Rider was to manage the band for three albums under his contract, but only one has been released since he was hired. In return, Lee filed a lawsuit against Rider for "breach of fiduciary duty, sexual assault and battery, professional negligence, currency conversion, and other charges". The suit also claims Rider "neglected Lee's career and business and has focused his efforts on having extramarital affairs, hiding them from his wife, becoming intoxicated during business meetings, physically abusing women and boasting about it, making repeated unwelcome sexual advances toward Lee, receiving fees in excess of what was provided for in his management agreement and using Lee's corporate credit card to purchase gifts for his mistress."

Mother : Dorothy Stone (homemaker)
Spouse(s): George Englund, Jr. Michael Greenburg (1984-1987), Phil Bronstein (1998-2004)
Career Start: Stardust Memories (1980)

Sharon Stone was Born on March 10th, 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania. Right from her very childhood she was a brilliant student which helped her to find her way amongst much older classmates when she entered Pennsylvania's Edinboro University at age 15. As a teenager she worked part-time as a McDonald's countergirl. But her stunning good looks won her the title at the Miss Pensylvannia beauty contest. From there it was only natural for her to pursue this career track and by the late 1970's she was a successful Ford model working in both magazine ads and commercials. This type of work lead to the next usual step on the entertainment ladder, and Sharon got work on several television series including a small part in "Not Just Another Affair" in 1982, and "Bay City Blues" to name a few. With her appetite whetted and experience under her belt, she went on to be cast in a few television movies.Stone's first feature film break was playing Arnold Schwarzenegger's kick-boxing, secret agent wife in Paul Verhoeven's "Total Recall" in 1990. Five years of box-office failures consisting of thrillers and comedies followed until she achieved "overnight" stardom in yet another Verhoeven film, "Basic Instinct". After this highly successful film, Stone was quickly beginning to be type-cast in the femme fatale role. Whether this was due to shrewd marketing on her part, or the typical Hollywood exploitation machine, Sharon appeared to be having difficulty breaking free from the mold. However, this was not the creative direction she was interested in taking, which became apparent when she took on the role of Ginger, the Vegas hustler who wins the heart of Robert De Niro, in "Casino", a role which earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Sharon now gained the respect and of critics and peers alike, proving once and for all she was more than a hot body with a pretty face. Additionally, Sharon owns her own production company, Chaos, and has a first-look deal with Miramax Studios. Truly speaking she is amongst one of the successful actress of the Hollywood film industry.

Sandra Bullock

Sandra Bullock

Biography:

Sandra was born on July 26th 1964 in Arlington, VA (a suburb of Washington D.C.) as Sandra Annette Bullock. However, she never uses her second name. Her mother's name is Helga, born as Meyer, who was a German opera singer. Unfortunately she already died on April 4th 2000 because of cancer. Her father John, who now helps managing her production company Fortis Films and Rebaw, he worked as a voice coach for the Pentagon in Bavaria (Germany), where he also met Helga. Sandra also has a younger sister. Gesine's profession is a lawyer, and mainly deals with youth crimes.
Sandra grew up as a young girl between artists and actors, because of her mother's profession. From 1964 until 1977 she moved often with her parents between Europe and America. By this time she mainly lived in Salzburg (Austria) and Nuremburg (Germany). Sandra was on stage for the first time at age 12. In 1977 Helga got a job for 1 1/2 years in the opera of Salzburg. Today Sandra says, she remembers that when she played around backstage , she knew since that time she has always wanted to be in the spotlight.
In 1978 her father John got a job directly in the Pentagon so they finally move to Arlington, where she was born. She went to Washington Lee High School there, and in the year-book she is called "clown of the grade" (in the positive way). Though her parents wished she would have attended The Jilliard University where her father went to, but she choose to go to the less spectecular East Carolina Universitiy in Greenville. Today she says that this decision was just perfect. This University is close enough to visit her parents easily but it is also far enough away to fool around a little. In second term she changes from her original study to do drama. With her friend at that time, Mark Brunetz, she participated in many dancing competitions of which she won a lot. But that's not all , In 1984 she was voted Cheerleader Captain and in the year-book she is voted "Most likely to brighten up your day".
Suddenly she decided to leave the University and then she goes to New York. There she earned her money with several jobs in bars, she even worked (of course without knowing it) in a "crack-bar" until it is found out. Her final education she gets from the acting-teacher-legend Sanford Meisner in New York. After applying for several roles in theaters she got her first stage preformace in 1987 in "No Time Flat", an off-Broadway theater. In the New York Daily she was the only one mentioned positively in this theater production. A talent seeker found Sandra by this time and arranged her first starring role in the action movie "Hangmen", also in 1987. She already appears for about 15 minutes in that movie and had the main supporting actress role.
This is the beginning of Sandra's long and great movie career.

Shannon Elizabeth

Date of Birth: 7 September 1973, Houston, Texas, USA
Birth Name: Shannon Elizabeth Fadal
Height: 5' 9" (1.75 m)
Spouse: Joseph D. Reitman (15 June 2002 - present) (filed for divorce)

Shannon Elizabeth Fadal was born on September 7, 1973, in Houston, Texas. Her exotic look can be attributed to the fact that her father is part Syrian and Lebanese, while her mother is of English, French and Cherokee Indian descent. Shannon's parents decided to move to Waco, Texas when Shannon was a young child. Claiming to not be part of the popular group in what she described as a cliquey high school, Shannon was involved in many after-school activities. Part of the student council executive, Shannon was active in volleyball and cheerleading (which probably came easy to her thanks to her tap and ballet lessons as a child). Her biggest interest during high school, however, was tennis, which she considered doing professionally.
Shannon's life took an unexpected twist in her senior year when she starred in a video that a local band was shooting. The producer thought that Shannon had what it takes to become a model, and convinced her and her parents to go to New York to get some photos done.
Once Shannon graduated from high school in 1991, she moved to New York, where a modeling agency was waiting for her to graduate and begin her modeling career. While doing some modeling work in New York (where she lived in the NYU dorms), Shannon also worked in countries such as France, Japan, Hong Kong, and Italy.
Although working abroad was an excellent experience, Shannon admits to having been homesick. When she returned to the U.S., she spent a few months in South Beach, Miami before moving to Los Angeles. Ready to pursue an acting career , she hesitated about going to L.A. immediately, recognizing the amount of competition among young budding actresses. When she finally did go to L.A., Shannon signed with the Ford Modeling Agency, figuring that getting some of her pictures done would help her get into acting. She later signed with Elite Model Management.
It didn't take long for Shannon to get her first commercial -- for Taco Bell -- and she decided to stay in L.A. and join an acting class. Soon after, the roles came in: she appeared in the television series Pacific Blue, Step by Step and USA High .
In 1997, Shannon had a role in the film Jack Frost (where she appeared nude), and two made-for-TV movies, Blade Squad (1998) and Dying to Live (1999), soon followed. But it was her role in 1999's summer hit American Pie , as Nadia, a Czech foreign exchange student who bares it all, that launched Shannon's fame and career.
In 2000, Shannon appeared in the teen horror spoof Scary Movie , as well as in Evicted and Dish Dogs . The following year, she reprised her role as sexy Nadia in American Pie 2 , and also appeared in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back , Tomcats and Thir13en Ghosts . Since then, she has had a slew of smaller roles, like in Love Actually (2003) and Cursed (2004). In 2005, she will be appearing in The Kid & I and starring in the made-for-TV movie, Confessions of an American Bride .
Shannon is now separated from her husband, Joseph D. Reitman, to whom she had been married since June 2002. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her dogs, going to the gym and practicing yoga and Krav Maga (the Israeli hand-to-hand combat system). A huge fan of Garth Brooks and Prodigy, her favorite actors include Michelle Pfeiffer and Gary Oldman.
Shannon was also a cover girl for Maxim , Play boy and Details , and she was Enrique Iglesias ' love interest in the video for his song, "Be With You."

Pamela Anderson # 1

Name: Pamela Denise Anderson
Born: July 1, 1967 (1967-07-01) (age 41) Ladysmith, British Columbia, Canada
Other name(s): Pamela Anderson Lee
Spouse(s): Kid Rock (August 3, 2006 - November 27, 2006; divorced)Tommy Lee (February 19, 1995 - February 28, 1998; divorced) 2 children.

Anderson was born in Ladysmith, British Columbia, 90 km northwest of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, the daughter of Carol, a waitress, and Barry Anderson, a furnace repairman. Her great-grandfather, Juho Hyytiäinen, was Finnish, a native of Saarijärvi, and left Finland in 1908 changing his name to Anderson when he arrived as an immigrant. Anderson has Dutch ancestry on her mother's side.
The newborn Anderson won fame as Canada's "Centennial Baby", because she was thought to have been the first baby born on Canada's Centennial Day (she was born at 4:08 in the morning). However, the Campbell River Upper Islander of July 5, 1967 reported a baby born two hours earlier on the same Canada Day.After her birth, her parents and her brother, Gerry Anderson, moved to the town of Comox with Pamela.
After graduating from Highland Secondary School in 1985, Anderson moved to Vancouver and worked as a fitness instructor. During the summer of 1989, Pamela went with her friends to a BC Lions game at BC Place; at some point during the game she was shown on the stadium screen wearing a Labatt's t-shirt, causing the crowd to cheer for the 21-year-old Anderson. She was taken down to the field to get an ovation from the crowd. Labatt's immediately offered Anderson a modeling contract and she accepted. In late 1989, Pamela decided to model for Playboy magazine: she appeared on the October 1989 cover (credited as Pamela Anderson Ilicic) and decided to move to Los Angeles to continue her modeling career. She was the February 1990 playmate and has appeared in Playboy several times in the 1990s and the following decade.
After her move to Los Angeles, Anderson bleached her brunette hair blonde and underwent breast augmentation. In 1991, she landed a minor role on the hit television sitcom, Home Improvement (1991-1999). Having gained viewer attention, she landed the role of C. J. Parker (1992-1997) on Baywatch, and left Home Improvement after its second season. Anderson was still modeling for Outdoor Life and appearing on the cover of the magazine each year. Her role as C.J. Parker gave her more popularity and gained her attention from international viewers. She returned to Baywatch for the 2003 reunion movie, Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding. She also made appearances on The Nanny as Fran's rival, Heather Biblow.
In 1996, she appeared in a feature film, Barb Wire, as a character known as Barbara Rose Kopetski, which was mistakenly thought by some to have been her real name. The movie, a thinly-veiled futuristic remake of Casablanca, failed to achieve commercial success. During the filming of Barb Wire, Anderson suffered a miscarriage. In April 1997, she guest-hosted Saturday Night Live. During the beginning of the show, Anderson said, "You know, if you're nervous on stage, you actually should be naked!" She then began a striptease. Her breasts, however, were covered by a small flesh-colored bra and she also wore a crotch patch that was also flesh colored (though they were still blurred out for the sake of the joke). The segment became fodder for late-night comedians for the following weeks. She also appeared on one of two covers for the September issue of Playboy; the other cover pictured Jenny McCarthy.
In September 1998, Anderson starred in her produced series V.I.P. It was very poorly received and a critical bomb. However, with many people tuning in just to see her, the show lasted four seasons before being canceled in 2002. Anderson stated that she needed to dedicate her time to raising her children, but many believed that she was retiring.
In March 2001, Christine Evelyn Roth was arrested while sleeping in a guest room of Anderson's home. She was only charged with the misdemeanor of trespassing and not the more serious crime of stalking. Roth pleaded guilty to the charge of trespassing and was deported home to France. In 2004, Anderson returned to the spotlight. In May, she appeared naked on the cover of Playboy magazine. It was the first time she had appeared naked on any magazine cover. Later, she posed naked for Stuff and GQ magazines. Many noticed that her breast size was larger than her pictorials from 2003.
Anderson became a naturalized citizen of the United States on May 12, 2004, while retaining her Canadian citizenship. She has lived in Southern California since 1989. Anderson has often spoken revealingly about her private life. On a visit to the David Letterman show in 2004, she said she had not been dating for some time, and when Letterman asked her how she was coping, she responded, "There's not a square corner left anywhere in my house!" Letterman left that comment unanswered while the audience hooted.
In 2004, Pamela Anderson released the book Star, co-written by Eric Shaw Quinn, in which she describes a young teenager doing different things in order to reach fame. After this, she began touring the United States, signing autographs for fans at Wal-Mart stores nationwide. Her second book, the sequel Star Struck, released in 2005, is a thinly veiled look at her life with Tommy Lee and the travails of celebrity life.
In January 2005, Anderson confessed that she had new bigger breast implants, claiming not to feel like herself without them.
In April 2005, Anderson starred in a new FOX sitcom Stacked as Skyler Dayton, a party girl (with implants), who goes to work at a bookstore. It was canceled on May 18, 2006, after two seasons, although some episodes had not been aired on the network. On August 14, 2005, Comedy Central created the Roast of Pamela Anderson to honor the sex symbol for the past decade. During her final speech at the Roast, Pamela referred to her breasts as "Pancho and Lefty".
In December 2005, NBC cut off a video of Anderson pole dancing topless on Elton John's "The Red Piano." NBC said that the footage was inappropriate for primetime. The video was shown on huge screens during the event, while John was playing a song. Anderson was topless, but stars were painted on her breasts.
In March 2006, it was announced that Anderson would receive a star on Canada's Walk of Fame thanks to her many years as a model and actress. She is only the second model to receive a star. In April 2006, Anderson hosted Canada's Juno Awards, becoming the first non-singer and model to do so.
Anderson was repeatedly referenced in the 2006 comedy film Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan as the title character seeks to kidnap and marry her. Anderson appears in person at the end of the film confronted by Borat in a staged botched abduction. She has subsequently begun filming a comedy, Blonde and Blonder.
She performed on February 13-14 2008 a Valentine's Day striptease act at the Crazy Horse cabaret in Paris.
